Why You Can’t Afford to Ignore the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a powerful, unstoppable and world-changing force.

According to Cisco, the number of internet connected devices reached between 8 and 10 Billion in 2012, while over 50 Billion objects will be connected to the internet by 2020 (> 6 connected devices per person). Therefore launching an IoT business is quickly becoming an imperative across multiple industries and around the world.

The IoT revolution is not just an extension of the internet revolution; it represents a convergence of the physical and digital worlds with the potential to transform many industries and our very lives, and on a scale that dwarfs the impact of the internet.

For most businesses, IoT is completely new territory which is innovating at an incredible pace.
Navigating the transition will require new business models and operationlal structures, which will discuss at our panel event.
