The French American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco Chapter is looking for an Event Manager

The French American Chamber of Commerce is a non profit organization, privately funded and member-driven. The FACC San Francisco Chapter is looking for an Event Manager. It would be a full time job, based in San Francisco, starting on June 1st, 2012.
The Event Manager will be in charge, in coordination and with the supervision of the Executive Director, of the strategic planning, professionalization and organization of the events of the Chamber (approximately 50 a year), including La Soirée, and an annual Gala Diner. He/She will be in charge of the relationship with the Committees Chairs, panelists, venues, caterers…
We are looking for a dynamic, autonomous and decision making individual, able to adapt to a small and multi tasking structure, at ease with strategic planning as well as very operational issues. Previous experience in event planning expected. Bilingual in French and English very much appreciated.
Allowed to work in United States (work permit/ green card/US citizen…) a requirement. Salary based on experience.
